daaaaaang I accidentally deleted my tumblr

explanation: I was pruning old dead tumblr alts, and accidentally killed my main one. Hahaha. That's a lot of history gone. BUT as I freaked out a little and my face turned red hot, I realized that I couldn't really find any true reason why I gave a damn. I moan about tumblr all the time, and I never really used it at all anymore but for reblogging pretty photos, and it's useless for communicating and comments of course. It's just useless for anything but the core "here's a nice pic, let me reblog it"

I use stuff like pinterest for inspiration and photos, now. I use twitter as my main communication tool. I don't need tumblr for anything but reblogging shit, what I need is a blog I can post stuff on and check up on my friends blogs. Dreamwidth seems to do this extremely simply.

Maybe we can all do that, too. I don't mean deleting tumblr, but... returning to a simpler time where communication was the main deal, with comments and tags and stuff. Make a dreamwidth, and let's all add eachother!!
